APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Muslim,
• In Financial Difficulty,
• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident,
• Minimum GCE “O/A” Level or its equivalent,
• Submission of all necessary & requested information,
• Priority will be given to Muslim Converts and/or their children,
• Applicants must NOT be in receipt of any other bursaries/scholarships in the same academic year.

Any diploma or degree course which in the discretion of the committee, will be beneficial to Muslim Converts’ Association of Singapore (MCAS) and the Muslim community.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. This form must be completed by the applicant.
  2. Applications will only be considered upon receipt of all  required documents from the applicants.
  3. Being eligible does not guarantee successful application.
  4. Each Bursary is applicable for one (1) Academic Year.
  5. All communications will be done through email and where necessary via telephone.
  6. Applications without a valid email address and contact number WILL BE REJECTED.
  7. Closing date of submission is on Wednesday, 31st of July 2024.
  8. Please take note that personal information shared will be kept confidential and subject to the PDPA clause stated on this form.

DOCUMENTS TO SUBMIT ONLINE

  • If applicant is a convert, please upload the image of your conversion card.
  • If the applicant is a child of a convert, please upload the image of parent’s conversion card.
  • NRIC for Citizen and Permanent Residents (both sides)
  • Birth Certificate (proof of relationship)
  • Recent salary statement or pay slip.
  • CPF contribution and transaction statements for the last 6-months of all adults living in the same household including unemployed adults.
  • Retirement / retrenchment letters from previous employers are required for family members who are no longer working.
  • Applicant/Family members who are self-employed must provide the Income Tax Declaration / Notice of Assessment.
  • For unemployment due to medical reasons, medical certificates / reports are to be produced.
  • Letter of acceptance to the intended institution or proof that applicant is still studying with the current institution.
  • Details of Course Fees.
  • Latest education transcript (minimum O/A Level).
  • Examination progress result from previous application (for repeat applicants).
  • Any testimonials and extra-curricular activity records.
  • Any other documents that our officer deem fit and necessary to aid the eligibility process.
